Why Terra and Self?

Using only the highest quality ingredients, our plant-based formulations are designed to help you feel good in the skin you're in. We always celebrate progress over perfection.

Are your products for all skin types?

Our products, especially those formulated for your face, are developed to be gentle on all skin types. As everyone's skin is different and sensitivity is based on various factors, we recommend you consult with your doctor or skincare professional should you have any specific concerns.

Are your products Clean?

We do not like to use terms such as clean because they are broad and unregulated. However, our products are made from naturally derived ingredients and are 100% cruelty-free and vegan. They are free of the following:

Parabens
Petroleum
Phthalates
SLS
SLES
PEG
TEA
DEA
EDTA
Silicones
Alcohol
Artificial Dyes
Formaldehyde
Mineral Oil

Are your products tested on animals?

Terra an Self products are never tested on animals.

Are all of your products fragrance-Free?

No. Some our products are scented with essential oils, however we do plan to release fragrance-free and sensitive skin safe products like Plain Jane in the near future.

Are Terra & Self Products Cruelty-Free and Vegan?

Yes, all of our products are made with plant based ingredients and we never ever test on our animal friends.

What is the shelf Life for your products?

Our products' shelf life ranges from 9-12 months opened and 12-18 months unopened.

Is your product packaging recyclable?

Yes all of our glass jars are recyclable or reusable. Our bath soak pouches are 100% compostable and can be disposed in your home compost bin.

Where are your products made?

Our products are made in our production studio in Santa Cruz, CA.

Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free shipping on all US orders of $75 or more (excluding taxes). For orders under $75, standard shipping costs $6

When will my order ship?

Our team works as quickly as possible to ship all orders within 3 business days. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. Please allow 1-2 business days for the tracking code and link to be activated.

Where will my order ship from and how long will it take to arrive?

With the possible exception of shipments during special promotions, launches, holidays, or other seasonal fluctuations, orders are processed within 3 business days from when the order was placed. Once processed, parcels are shipped from Santa Cruz, CA by the United States Postal Service, UPS, or Fedex. It typically takes 3-9 business days to arrive.

Standard Shipping: Est. 3–9 business days ($5.00 / Free for $75+)
Expedited Shipping: Est. 2–3 business days ($14.90)

You will receive an email notification once your order has shipped along with tracking information. You can track your shipment using the tracking number and link that is provided in your shipping confirmation message. We are not responsible for any delays in shipping caused by ground or air transportation delays, severe weather, or other circumstances out of our hands.

Can I make changes to or cancel my order? 

We work hard to help you get your orders processed as fast as possible. As soon as the payment is accepted, your order is shipped, which leaves out time for changes to be made. Upon checkout, please confirm your shipping details are accurate before completing your order.

There may be time to cancel your order. Please email us at hello@terraandself.com as soon as possible with the subject line “Cancellation” with your full name and order number. If we can process the cancellation prior to shipment, we will try to accommodate, otherwise please wait for the receipt of your package to begin the return process.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover), Paypal, Amazon Pay, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

Returns

What is your return policy?

We hope that the love and care we put towards our products come through, but we understand that some things do not work out. We are happy to accept return products within 30 days of receipt. Returned items must be unopened, unused, unworn, and in their original condition.

Can I exchange a product?

The only way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item
